We say..find the place look next door, 5 or more you raise the score, 4 or less you let it rest, look to the right, put zeros in sight!

Totally taking this!!! With the other chants for rounding, it doesn’t explain the adding one part. My students always got so confused which place value they were looking at. Also using their hands for place value is so simple and smart can’t believe I haven’t thought of that!! Love it!
