Is it a silly song? Of COURSE! But does it follow a pattern that ties itself to human emotions and relatable moments in relationships on both sides? Very much so. It’s soulful and artful as well as silly, that’s why people are grabbing onto the feelings it stirs. Being straight up, it’s likely not intending to tap into any of it. But it’s artful and does because it’s deeply human as well as silly.
