My daughter’s tonsils were a 3.5 out of 4 on scale. She couldn’t eat anything that wasn’t soft or liquid without chocking. I tried giving her some thing slices of steak once and she chocked on that. Pretty soon after that the doctor cleared her to get them removed cause she was considered underweight since she wasn’t able to actually swallow food. She got them removed right after turning 3 and the girls gained 10lbs since the surgery. Only downside is now she knows how good steak and seafood is and only wants the higher quality cuts of steak so my wallets feeling a bit of pain now.

i got my tonsils amd adenoids out at 10 nd the first thing i ate while still in nd out of it i ate kfc lol

I remember needing a tonsillectomy, the need for it was far worse than the recovery. Mine were insanely bad and constantly infected. As soon as they were out it was a very minor sore throat for awhile.
