Epperson Lagoon is a large, man-made recreational water feature located in Wesley Chapel, Florida, within the Epperson community developed by MetroPlaces. It is notable for being the first “Crystal Lagoon” in the United States—a concept that originated internationally and features expansive, clear, turquoise waters designed for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and other water activities.The lagoon covers approximately 7.5 acres, making it much larger than traditional swimming pools. Primarily available to residents of the Epperson community, but day passes and memberships are sometimes offered to the public depending on current policies.
