@fairydisney: I felt like the second film of ariel didn’t make much sense and lacked in a storyline! 🧜‍♀️🙃 #disneyedits #princessariel #thelittlemermaid #littlemermaid2 #olddisney

Bruh. She grew up and because a parent herself. In the second movie she finally understood her dad and was able to see where he came as a father. It took her time but she got to the point where she could let her daughter go after making sure it was safe. The second movie was about her seeing the other side of that story and have her own experience with it as a parent this time. And why are you against aging? She ain’t old. She’s only 28. What you want her to be a teen mom to a teenager? Come on.

She wasn’t old?? 28 is still young😭 & to be honest she’s supposed to be more mature now, she wouldn’t still have that 16 year old mentality anymore, she’s a grown woman, a wife & a mother, not to mention she’s now royalty, and yess i know she was already royalty being a princess but now she probably has more responsibilities, although nothing beats the first movie & it will always be a classic & one of my personal favorites 🧜‍♀️❤️

She became a mother and finally realised why her father was so protective. Basically it’s the little mermaid but reverse Triton needed to learn the human world can be dangerous but can also be safe. Same as Ariel learned the sea can be dangerous and safe

People need to understand. In the original, she was 16 years old with unrealistic ambitions and all the dreams in the world. In the sequel, she has become a mother, acclimated to human life, and is repeating a generational mistake of restricting her child from a world she perceives as dangerous. She likely has trauma from Ursula, and the concept of losing her child via Morgana likely opens the same exact fear her own father had for her. Honestly, I like that the second movie shows characters working to break that generational curse and overcome the repeated mistakes.

16year olds always think they know better then their parents and then we grow up and realise our parents had a point after all 😂 but even in Ariel’s situation, Melody was actively being targeted. What alternative do you think she should have done to protect her? You think telling her the truth of her mermaid history would prevent her from going out into the water to find merfolk? No, she would have said her mother was being overprotective and left to go find atlantica

WOAHHHH fyp did me soooo dirty. the whole point of the movie was to bridge the gap between Ariel and Triton. she grew to understand Triton and his fear of losing his kids.
