American health care seems so scary. Here we pay $33 TTD per month for Health Surcharge. No card needed and everyone has access to public health care, surgery, most medications, cancer treatment, HIV treatment etc etc. It's not perfect by any means, but it gives everyone access to health care.

We have a Medicare card in Australia, and no matter rich or poor you have health care. Not having to worry about a drs or hospital visit is a relief. You pay 1.5% tax every pay day but it’s worth it.
