Before this, I always felt that people who criticized Ronaldo were just trying to bring him down. But after watching Portugal’s game today, I think what Henry said was actually true. When the team doesn’t pass him the ball, people talk about how the team isn’t supporting him and all that. But when the team needs a win, you don’t always have to be the hero. Yes, Ronaldo has been the hero for every team he’s played for, but in this situation, if he had put his ego aside, Portugal might have won that game.
