My dog is 11yrs old. Never had any itching issues. 2yrs ago start started having “allergies” (mild). It is now out of control. I have changed her food- tired homemade for 8 months, tired expensive limited ingredient foods, bought all the shampoos/sprays, tried medication-she would be good for a a bit, lower the dosage then bam, right back to where we started. I have to put a cone on her daily or she will kick herself raw. I’m feel like I’m doing everything and nothing fully last/works…. I feel like I’m seeing a huge increase of dog allergies within the last couple of years. Everyone I know is having “allergy” issues with their dogs.. why??? What is going on for this influx? Clearly something was introduced in the environment or in ALL their foods. It doesn’t make sense.
