I hear you. Adoptive American mom of two kids born in China. One is doing a college internship in Shanghai soon. The vision of her life I had 20 yrs ago, when we brought her to the US, is not today’s reality. We’re dealing with the possibility of her living in China after college.

It’s a bit overwhelming to listen to this. I brought my wife and son to the United States less than two years ago and 17 months later we back to their home country. Because I realized this wasn’t the American dream I had visioned for them. I wish for both of you to have a safe and fulfilling journey.
