The price per pound of ground beef is now higher than the minimum wage in Oklahoma. I’m fairly new to the state and was just able to go vote for the first time here on Tuesday and was shocked that it didn’t pass!!! Like truly shocked that that many people would vote against their own interest.

I'm making $43.75 an hour & I can promise you when min wage goes to from $7.25/hr to $20/hr which will cause more inflation here in Oklahoma the company ai work for won't be rasing my pay to $56.50 which is why State Question 832 failed. 😂

I'm a rancher and was advised to vote no due to no exclusion for ag. Reason given: we tend to pay an agreed upon rate per job, such as building fence. didn't make sense to me as im not paying the fence builders employees im paying the company. I already pay my seasonal employees more than minimum wage because they work hard and it's the right thing to do.
