@learningobserved: If they went to school, their days would be segmented by age. Different classrooms, different playgrounds, separate friends. They’d spend the best, most energetic hours of their day completely apart. Instead, they navigate everything side by side 🥺 this snippet was from their STEM club, little sis trying something new, anchored completely by her big sis’s hand 👣❤️ Don’t get me wrong, it is not sunshine and roses 24/7…. because they absolutely fight, they push each other’s buttons, and they need space just like anyone else! 🫠 grouping kids together at home doesn’t magically eliminate conflict. But what it does give them is a shared life. They actually know each other. They see each other’s struggles, influence each other’s interests, and genuinely celebrate each other’s wins. We aren’t piecing together their days from a chat in the car or at the dinner table… we actually know what goes on in each other’s lives.
