@rental.cashflow: They broke the bed...but, they were also honest about it. As a host, the reality is that stuff is going to get damaged. Sometimes it's intentional and other times it's accidental. @waivo_ has created a way for the replacement cost to not fall on the guest or the host. It's simple, and it's fast. The best part, is that you don't need to involve the guest. 🛌 Comment the word "BED" and I'll share my direct link for them 🛌 *PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO WAS CREATED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. My family has stayed at this Airbnb for about 4 months due to a house fire, with a total stay of approximately $21,000. We also paid $500 in pet fees for our 4 pets and a $250 cleaning fee.
Unfortunately, my child accidentally knocked over a faux plant, and the black planter ended up with a couple of small cracks (see photo). I wasn't able to find the exact replacement after checking several stores, so I purchased a similar cream-colored planter that matches other décor in the house.
As the host, would you be satisfied with the replacement, or would you prefer reimbursement for the original item instead?
