@cbsnews: Undercover deputies from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in Michigan during a sting operation involving an alleged scam to defraud an elderly woman out of $700,000. The sheriff’s department was originally alerted to the alleged scam when a coin shop owner reported that a 79-year-old woman had come in seeking to convert her life savings into gold coins. Following his arrest, the scammer was detained at the Kent County jail, with a $100,000 bond and an ICE detainer in place.

I genuinely don’t understand how people fall for scams. I am skeptical about everything even if my own actions lol. I question and think everything
