@thefasciacompany: Most people think ageing is just time doing its thing. But that's not the case. Aging in the face is almost entirely structural. It's the maxilla slowly rotating clockwise and backwards, it's the fascia losing upward tension and pulling everything down, and it's decades of mouth breathing, forward head posture, and poor oral habits compressing the bone structure from the inside out. Nothing is inevitable, it's the result of a structural problem that nobody addresses at the root cause. The maxilla is the foundation of the entire face and when it's properly developed and forward, the SMAS has something to hold onto, and it will sit with upward tension. When the maxilla is recessed or rotating clockwise, the SMAS loses that support pulling everything downward and inward. Creams don't touch it, fillers don't fix it and surgery cuts tissue that's going to keep falling because the structural problem is still there. To reverse this we have to work on the structure itself. Tongue posture on the roof of the mouth applies continuous upward force to the maxilla and thumbpulling accelerates this with direct mechanical stimulus to the palate and sutures. But none of it works if the fascia is tight because we have to release the fascial system first, then apply the mechanical stimulus. Nasal breathing stops the collapse from continuing and posture stops the fascial chain from pulling everything backward. Habits shape the face, change the habits and everything else will follow.
