I am responsible for what was said in this room today," Heuermann told Judge Timothy Mazzei, who then admonished him. "You've been described as a big man, but you are a disgusting and small man, if you're a man at all, and you're a coward," the judge said. Family members of the victims who were in the courtroom erupted in cheers as Heuermann was led away in handcuffs after being sentenced for the murders.
