Graham's number is an extremely large number that comes from a mathematical problem in Ramsey theory. It was introduced by mathematician Ronald Graham while studying patterns in high-dimensional geometry. The number is so large that it cannot be written out using ordinary decimal notation because there would not be enough space in the observable universe to write all its digits. Mathematicians define it using a special notation called Knuth's up-arrow notation, which represents repeated exponentiation and even faster-growing operations.
