An OG Windy City series fan here...my fav series/books of all time! Aaand I seriously hated the Playing For Keeps series lol. Carter is insufferable, they’re sooo long, super repetitive...I read 1-3 and could not justify continuing.

The Windy City series is my all time favorite sports romance. I chase that feeling any time I pick up a book with any sport so I’m adding your recs! But if I can recommend some myself, try the Boston Blues series..3 books are out and 2 still to come. As well as Please Don’t Go by E. Salvador. Both are baseball and please don’t go is actually the first book so there’s more to come!

The Undone series by Peyton Corinne is a really sweet college sports romance series, but it’s definitely more serious than most sports romances. The books, Unsteady, Unloved, and Unbonded, cover topics like trauma, grief, mental health, disabilities, recovery, and family struggles. The romance is still a big part of the story, but the books focus just as much on healing and personal growth. I really love the way Peyton Corinne writes because she handles these heavier topics so well while still delivering a beautiful love story. There is also one more book coming out, Undone, and I can’t wait to read it.

Have you read the Boston Bolts by Brittanee Nicole? She has interconnected series to go along with the Bolts.. Revenge Era, Mom Coms and Langfield Brothers and Langfield next Gen that just came out in June. Her co writer Jenna Bara also added Boston Revs that go along with these series but that’s baseball. Boston Bolts is Hockey! They were all fantastic 😁
