yesterday i played cho cho charles on a quad q6600 and a GT 730 2gb gddr3 and bc nativly i would get 15 fps i turned on DLSS and got 5 so i turned on FSR 2.0 and it jumped to 46fps. im not even sure how FSR works on Nvidia GPUs but if i get frames i get frames. btw my AI chatbot told me i got high peformance on FSR bc its just upscaling and the GPU is running on lower load while DLSS tries software frame gen and eats up all my vram

another tip is to download the new drivers first, don't install them, delete the old ones in safe mode and when you're turning it back on, make sure your wifi or Ethernet is off so windows doesn't download any drivers, then proceed to install the new driver you downloaded.

Ummm Matt I think I might need ur help with my amd rx 580 from maxsun because sometimes whenever I’m playing a game it just randomly doesn’t want to work and have tried ddu before to see if it will fix it and nothing really seems to work

i have friends everywhere :
never ever had to do this when moving between amd, intel and nvidia gpus 🤣 only ever did it when i was using modded drivers, or when the drivers were corrupted, or when i was moving between gpus that had different driver architectures (something like catalyst vs adrenalyn)

Or you could just reboot into safe mode yourself and manually uninstall the old drivers on your own.
