This is so true. Everytime I do hip thrust with heavy heavy weight my body just thinks about lifting the weight instead of actually feeling it in the right places and that’s when my legs take over.

100% agree. I do a single leg hip thrust with only 12kg and it burnssss .. or a 30kg dumbbell but move slow and stay a few seconds .. trust me your glutes will be twitching after.. (coming from an ego lifter) that got humbled

please help! what about train to failure? when i put lower wheight that targets my glutes, i can go above 8 maybe 10 or 12. but when i higher the weight i can feel that my glutes arent working that much.
