i don't think paper industry is the one who destroyed forests. the paper industry need tree, but they are not destroying the forest and left after that, rhey managing their "forest ". but the oil plantation, the mining that caused permanent destruction to the forest.

Always been my position. It’s far more eco friendly to print pages, buy books and newspapers because it means we need trees. If we stop doing all that and building steel framed houses, we don’t need these trees and the lan will be sold off to developers who will use it to things other than that which helps create oxygen and feeds on carbon dioxide
