i don't think paper industry is the one who destroyed forests. the paper industry need tree, but they are not destroying the forest and left after that, rhey managing their "forest ". but the oil plantation, the mining that caused permanent destruction to the forest.

no, its not...deforestation has occured everywhere on the globe, except for the US, where there is 120% more forest than 100 years ago...currently forest are makes up 34% of the total land area of the US
