![We're big fans of Henry aka @Run with Henry, who is going to take on the Amsterdam Marathon for RNIB in October 👏 He told RNIB Connect Radio why he decided to take on the challenge. Transcript: David: So, Henry, what was it that made you decide to do your first marathon and to raise money for the RNIB? Henry: So funnily enough, I saw an advert on social media for fundraising for the RNIB. Someone was doing it for the London Marathon. That happens I think later this month, actually in April. And as many of you maybe who listen and might know, people that run the London Marathon’s awfully oversubscribed, only one percent of people get into that. So, you know, I thought I'd set my sights on a smaller European marathon. That's where the idea for Amsterdam came up. And yeah, for me, it was really about, you know, raising money. And it's not just about the target and the amount I'm fundraising, but it's about, you know, through my content. So, I'm using Instagram and TikTok to document my journey and it's showing people with disabilities that they can, you know, step outside of that comfort zone, and have that confidence hopefully to get into running as well.]](/video/cover/7623090944769887521.webp)
