I moved from America to France and race in France and most of Europe is not discussed openly. The result is the people of France which is a very racist not only don’t believe themselves to be racist, they believe racism doesn’t exist in France and ‘is a an American problem’. Additionally education in schools about France’s role in colonization or the history of colonized countries despite a significant portion of the French population immigrating or sharing ancestry from these countries. The result is a racist, ignorant, and delusional population.

I was literally talking to someone about this. IMO, airing KC's speech and Trinity's conversation with Bryce was strategic. Last year, the show faced a lot of racism allegations (rightfully so) because of how they chose to only highlight anti-hate speeches for the non-Black contestants while throwing the Black women under the bus in favor of the non-Black women. That put the show under a lot of scrutiny, which was well deserved. But honestly, I can't fully appreciate what they're doing now because what the Black women went through last year was insane. I also think their favoritism toward the hurricane lady, despite all her weird antics, was because Leah blew up the previous season so they probably assumed she will be the breakout star. They tried to give her a redemption arc at the expense of Chelley and Olandria, and that completely backfired because now that lady is getting restraining orders and laughing at slurs. I'm glad they're doing better this season, but what happened last year still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

But there's always one og white girl then 2 come in as a bombshell sometime before casa. (S6: OG Kaylor then Liv then Cass. S7: OG Belledasha then Hannah then Iris.) I don't think production set Kenzie up in any way. If anything it's her getting the privilege of excessive screentime that has left her exposed.
