If you picked the hammer... you’re right. ✅ But candles tell a much bigger story than just buy or sell. 🟢 Hammer = buyers defended lower prices. 🔴 Shooting star = sellers rejected higher prices. ⚪️ Doji = indecision. Neither side is in control. 🟩 Bullish engulfing = buyers took control. 🟥 Bearish engulfing = sellers took control. But here’s where most traders get trapped... They see a huge green candle and instantly buy. Big mistake. ❌ Sometimes it’s not strength. It’s exhaustion. The same goes for massive red candles. Sometimes it’s panic selling right before a reversal. The real clue isn’t the candle body. It’s the wicks. Wicks reveal where buyers or sellers lost control.
