We can opt in to summer Fridays at my company but you have to work longer hours the rest of the week. But we get the entire Friday OFF

We do them as optional and you still have to make up the hours earlier in the week. A lot of people don’t like to change their schedules, but I’m up and on by 7, so it’s really no biggie to add an hour T-Th.

my company doesn’t but i made a rule for the staff that reports to me (year round) that if their work is done for the week for deliverables to clients they can log off at 12. motivates them to get work done and hit deadlines ahead of schedule
