LBTY is Liberty of London, they’ve been around for centuries and known for their fabrics and their fabulous department store. They just started their in-house perfume brand a couple years ago…this is my sign to finally give it a shot!

I’m disappointed that flankers are considered for Fragrance of the Year. To me they represent corporations’ inclination to be risk-averse for the sake of the bottom line and maximizing shareholder value, rather than advancing the art of perfumery.

DBIR extradose is an extremely popular fragrance and very beautiful so no surprise there. One of the few fragrances that u may find in the collection of those who primarily buy niche or affordable alike

Just goes to show you that there are only really three main production houses with in-house capabilities. This is an award for those three production houses. And portrait of a lady?? It’s fine but not even in the top 5 of Frederic Malle.
