My son's depression started around puberty. It grew worse over the years and he fought hard to overcome it. He got married in 2008, built his house by himself, had a great business. But got in with the wrong people and self medicated. His brother died in April 2025 and he couldn't handle it. Now he's in prison and having a really hard time there. Drugs are prolific in prison. He's been in confinement more than in general population. I cry for both of my sons. Every day.
