I would just put new wood around those posts and make them stand out more.

I’ve seen covering the paint stripper with plastic wrap helps with paint removal since the remover can dissipate in the open air

Sorry to be that person, but please wear a dust mask when sanding anything. Especially old paint or treated wood. 😷 ( I get after my husband for this all the time 😄) Congrats on the roof coming soon btw!

So adding shrink wrap over the stripper really helps the stripper work. Also leaving it on for hours really helps.

Not an expert in any way! But from what I saw, I think you’re supposed to wrap the paint stripper so it doesn’t dry while it works 🤷♀️

They make a pvc white porch post cover. It has 3 sides and the last side is snapped on. It has pretty trim options. You could just cover the posts and never paint them again.

Grinding disk and grinder will be effective as long as you are gentle and careful.

for timelines, whatever you think it is, increase the number by 50% and increase the unit by 1 level. if you think it will take 1 hour, it will actually take 1.5 days for example. don't be so hard on yourself 😊

could I suggest renting a more powerful sander? I didn't realize the difference myself until I borrowed my dad's DeWalt
