I still use the word “was” when talking about Jesus too. It’s just the way we talk. We gotta fix our minds on the reality though. He is present, and we look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come because He IS.

If it’s not traditional Protestantism rooted in sola scriptura, the Orthodox Church, or Catholicism, it’s so far gone from both scripture and tradition it doesn’t much resemble Christianity at all.

Yeah, and jesus still wasn't the lord of lords, the king of kings we was fo the people no matter what race color political beliefs he was for the people .He was god's son.He was not god because the scripture goes. God sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins.
