Absolutely! it is very much giving here damn… and while it is called the Recording industry association of America, I think, and the point of the Grammys is to award excellence within the American music industry. People have to realize that international acts that make an impact here have the right to be put in the correct categories. Even with acts that are from the United States they pigeonhole people sometimes and it gets really annoying and I do know that they’re trying to get Younger members in the voting cohort... and add more diversity, but it’s still giving the old guard won’t let go and you could tell that there is still decision-making happening that’s very out of touch.
