@jhorgalore2: What a difference one year makes! The first picture is when I started to realize the damage to my hair was stemming from consistent braiding styles or what we call “protective styles”. I wanted to do something low maintenance and low tension, and by the look on my face I HATED it 😂. Don’t get me wrong, short hair is beautiful but I wasn’t feeling it on me. I thought I looked like a little girl & not a grown woman. Fast forward to a little over a year later and my hair and confidence has flourished.
