@healingbestiekristina: What you don't see is how long it took. The decades. The nights I spent screaming WHY IS MY LIFE LIKE THIS. WHY AM I LIKE THIS. So sure that something was broken in me, that everyone else got handed a manual I somehow never received. I wasn't inspiring anyone back then, my love. I could barely hold myself together. Here's what I couldn't see in the middle of it: none of it was wasted. Every dark season, every version of me I was certain I'd never come back from, was actually teaching me the exact thing I'd one day help other people walk through.
