my daughter and I don't feel our lows at all, she would literally die without her CGM. (I'm Lada and still in the "honey moon" period so I haven't gone dangerous low yet) 😒

lol, my doc says I make him feel like we are back in the 80’s. I refuse the technology. Everything has been working for almost 40 years so I don’t see spending all my money on newer equipment. Just my opinion.

I was diagnosed T1D 52 YEARS ago! We had only syringes & PIG insulin! We didn't even have glucometers! They checked our BG every 3 months at the dr office & it had to be sent off for results!! It was truly the DARK AGES! How we survived I do not know. You have no idea how bad I felt 24/7/365. So I'm never giving up my Novolog or my pump or my algorithm or my CGM. I know what I used to feel like & how I feel now.

I absolutely love my CGM! It helps me make smart choices and to catch any lows and helps me prevent extreme highs. So I totally agree with you about enjoying your life! You have the access to great technology why not use it if you can have it. This has changed my life completely! Love your videos!

I have been T1D for 35 years. I have never had a CGM, pump, or any new Insulin types. I appreciate the concept but just struggle daily.

Walmart insulin is like water to me. So when people say “just get the $8 Walmart insulin” yeah that doesn’t always work.

I would never go back to before my cgm wireless pump combo, it literally changed my life. my A1C went from 12 to 7.5 in 3 months.

as some one who survived as a kid on the older treatments - people shouldn't hafta use outdated treatments in this day n age - the newer insulins n tech should be accessible and affordable to everyone - best technology hands down is the cgm - the best treatment comes from having the most data period
