This was during the time when Jungkook didn't show much attention to Jimin. Jimin would always tell Jungkook things like, "I love you," "Please go on a date with me," and "Please accept my love." But Jungkook was still very young, shy, and going through puberty, so instead of expressing himself openly, he often teased Jimin and acted distant.
Because of that, Jimin once said that he felt like Jungkook kind of avoided him. Eventually, Jimin also started keeping some distance from Jungkook because he was hurt by the way Jungkook treated him. But just because Jungkook was rude at times between 2013 and 2015 doesn't mean he didn't care about Jimin. He was still a kid back then, learning and growing, and there were many moments that showed he cared about him in his own way.
There was also that famous moment when the members were asked if Jungkook liked Jimin, and several members answered no. Jungkook seemed genuinely bothered by that, as if it upset him that people thought he didn't care about Jimin.
And let's not forget that Jimin has always loved Jungkook just as much. Their bond has always gone both ways. If you look at them from 2015 all the way to 2026, their connection has remained incredibly strong. Many fans even call 2017 "the most Jikook year ever" because of how close they seemed throughout that period.
Through the years, whether it was 2019, 2020, their solo activities, or even later on, they continued to spend time together and support each other. They even chose to enlist together, which many fans see as another example of their strong bond.
To me, what stands out the most is how much attention, care, and affection Jungkook shows toward Jimin. The way he looks at him, supports him, and stays close to him feels impossible to ignore. And Jimin shows the same love and care right back. Whether others agree or not, their connection has always felt special, genuine, and incredibly important to both of them...
