I’m about to graduate nail school and they haven’t taught me much. Yes they require a certain amount of hours on the floor but my school bases the hours you accumulate based on the service. So a full set acrylic with gel is worth more hours than a manicure with regular polish. I’ve literally done maybe 5 sets of acrylic on the floor and all the practice has been from friends and family willing to let me practice on them.

No our beauty school didn’t teach us squat about nails!!! Or even hair, like she says u just have to watch alot of videos and other techs and just ask lots of questions, I’ve been doing this for 8 years and I’m still learning

How do I back track 🫣 I said “anyone who is willing to be my volunteer and trust in me now, will get free nails for life” 🫣😩 now I have 8 regular volunteers and i didn’t realise how much money it would cost to get to where I am. I realised even when I get clients, I’ll be breaking even on the first 8 but I don’t/can’t even take more than 8 clients really. 💜
