We don't have seagulls here. Looks to be a juvenile albatross and the other were Nenes. Which is the state bird of Hawai'i.

Look for Hideaway beach. Should be close to where you are. Hard to get to though. At least it was when we were there years ago.

If you go to Kilauea Lighthouse (10 minutes from Princeville) you’ll see all the sea birds on Kauai nesting!
