@thesameerproject: 30 degrees Celsius/ 86 Fahrenheit - that is the temperature in Gaza during the day. No air conditioning, no fans, and sometimes no shade. That’s the reality for Palestinians in Gaza. All this heat while living in tents and on top of that barely any access to water. 256 areas in Gaza stopped getting water from international organizations two weeks ago and people are suffering. Dehydration is widespread and lack of hygiene is leading to outbreaks of diseases like scabies. The Sameer Project is currently providing 430,000 liters of fresh water across Gaza. Instead of working towards scaling up, we are in fear of having to scale down in two weeks. This is due to a huge decrease in funds over the last couple of months.
