Beyond that, the agent may have paid for the connection that enabled them to access the opportunity in the first place, which could cost another KES 30,000 or more. We should also remember that agents run offices, pay operational expenses, and travel regularly to manage the recruitment process. Looking at all these costs, KES 220,000 is not necessarily a huge amount considering the agent only earns it once per recruit. Many people assume that obtaining recruitment connections and opportunities is easy, but the reality is quite different. The challenge is that those involved cannot openly explain every detail because it may not make sense to everyone or could be misunderstood. That's why some people find it difficult to understand how the recruitment process actually works behind the scenes.
