It took me almost a year to read Brave New World, bc nearly every paragraph made me spiral into existential despair. Good book.

When I was younger I decided to read "The Death of Ivan Illich" by Tolstoy so I could sound smart at parties and I finished it and literally couldn't sleep for 2 days because it blew my mind so bad. So now I just sound completely unhinged at parties.

Dracula really is so peak. And once you learn how devoted Jonathan and Mina are to each other and the strenght of their love, you will forever hate adaptations that ship Mina with Dracula

“Dracula,” chapter 22. I kid you not, I was SOBBING listening to the audiobook and going 80 down the freeway. Jonathan and Mina Harker have my heart.
