I noticed a big difference in the team’s performance after Jordan Ayew was substituted. Before he came off, he appeared out of form and struggled to make an impact. Many of his passes did not connect, he found it difficult to control the ball, and too often he seemed to be looking for fouls instead of driving the attack forward. Once he was substituted, the energy of the team seemed to change completely. The players looked more confident, more aggressive, and more determined to move the ball forward. That was also the period when Ghana scored. I particularly noticed that Semenyo became much more active and involved in the game. From my perspective, the team looked more fluid and dangerous without Jordan Ayew on the pitch. Perhaps the coaching staff should consider giving other players more opportunities in the starting lineup. Competition for places is healthy, and whoever is in the best form should be given the chance to help the Black Stars perform at their highest level.
