✨ TO QUIT OR NOT TO QUIT ✨ The first subject I talk about, is the explanation of why you may see hairs appear, only days after your first ever wax. When the last form of hair removal was shaving, it’s usually coarse prickles from where you last shaved the end of the hair, but said hair isn’t quite long enough to remove with the wax. This client hadn’t shaved since February.. she had no prickles, because each hair sheds in around 3-4 months. The hairs that were once prickly would have been and gone by now! So what I’m explaining here, is that because there’s been no hair here, cut from the skin surface, any hair that makes it’s way to the surface in the coming days, they’re new hairs, growing from the follicle in which, recently shed a hair. It can take, again, 3-4 months for a new hair to make its way through the skin surface after the previous one shed from the same follicle! It’s kinda techy, really. Anywho.. if you’ve had ONE wax and you had quite a few hairs come through in the first couple of weeks, PLEASE trust the process. This isn’t an overnight fix, so it’s best to go in, knowing that you’re not gonna necessarily be as smooth as a dolphin for your first few waxes. Remember.. it can take around 3-4 consistent waxes to get your hairs all in the same growth cycle, giving you the best wax of your life! TRUST. THE. PROCESS ♥️ Also.. a massive well done to all of my beautiful ladies, enduring an entire coochie wax when they arrived anxious that they may not get through it.
