@kennareneeharper: If you’re mothering without a mother for whatever reason - I see you. I am you. It’s a gut wrenching type of grief but it unlocks a different type of strength I’ve never known. That doesn’t make it better but it makes it possible❤️🩹🤍 #trauma #healingmotherhood #breakinggenerationalcycles #HealingJourney #motherhoodunfiltered
This video got me, I feel a sense of peace I’m not the only one 🩷

You are an amazing person and mother. I wish I could hug that little girl in you and give you the love you deserved. I am so proud of you even though I don't know you. ♥️

That’s a good thing that you can’t understand her because that means you’re a good mother!! They say we learn from our parents how not to parent and that couldn’t be more true for you! You’re amazing and should be so proud of yourself ❤️

I lost my mom when I was 13 years old to a rare disease and I loved her so much but as a middle child I was pushed away for reasons I’ll never ever get to know. My mom always favored my older brother and my little sister and thankfully I had a good honest dad who always showed me that love that I questioned if my mom had for me like she did my siblings and I’m sure in a way she did love me I just wish she would’ve showed it to me as much as she showed it to my siblings.

I mothered my kids without a village I did have my mom by phone it wasn’t anything she did it was due to my husband being active duty army at the time hell even after he retired my mom is by phone only. So idk how it feels without a mom in that sense but I do know how it feels to not have a village and yes it was and is hard but women can do anything they set their minds to do. We have to be able to have faith in ourselves to rise above our situations

Youngest daughter here 🙋🏻♀️I babysat all of my nephews for years and years before I got married, I’m now expecting my first baby and I just know for a fact that no one is willing to do the same for me, my mom’s too old to take care of a child and my sisters are too busy working and taking care of their own families. It does feel like grief but at least I know what to expect and I have enough experience to grow my own child by myself since i was a babysitter for so long 😀 Trynna find the silver lining LOL

It’s not so simple as a decide and switch but your decision is the first step then boldly make it a reality purposely with your choices and actions
I hope you are blessed with many things including a wonderful mother in law

My mother hated living and slowly killed herself. And she was taking me with her. Ours stories are different but they are so similar. I’m hoping I am able to speak that way someday
