I have been running Valvoline full synthetic oil in my 2018 f150 with the 3.5l ecoboost. I have 213,000 miles. At 165,000 I had the cam phasers done and I was asked by the tech what oil I use because my engine has great compression and it’s super clean inside the engine. I changed my oil and filter right at 7,000 miles since it was new.

So I used to run an oil change company and when it comes to products like this in my day, there was a all climate oil and that was a standard oil and that was usually a five 5w30 or a 10W30 now yes there were other weights, but that’s what the cars were running. Then the semisynthetic came along where it was a blend between synthetic oil and conventional oil and you still ran the same amount of miles about 3000 miles and then the exaggeration came out of full synthetic oils how far you could actually go on an oil change and understand under normal driving condition You could probably go about 5 to 7000 miles on a full synthetic oil change and for the most part, you’re not gonna really harm the engine but these new ones are 8000 10,000 15,000 25,000 if you were doing stop and go traffic you’re on the highways and you get caught in traffic jams and you do any city driving where you hitting lights and stop signs and pedestrians as in not running them over but running congestion lol you should change your synthetic oil about every 5000 miles and you’ll get longevity out of your vehicle.

I used to use quake the state forever and then when Valvoline restore and protect came out couple of years ago I started using that and I still use that

I use conventional oil I've been doing it since I've been driving never ever had a problem I don't need to waste my money on synthetic oil I use Pennzoil and a Pennzoil filter and I change my oil every 3,000 mi perfect
