@pearse.doherty: Tonight, the government voted to increase the cost of petrol and diesel from 1st August. As the Dáil heads into recess, people will be once again hit at the pumps. They also voted to increase carbon taxes from October, driving up the cost of home heating oil as we head into the winter months. This government is sitting on billions of euro, yet instead of supporting people, it has chosen to make life harder. That is the wrong choice.
