@hannah.platner: just wanna clarify, I’m not saying that you cannot be around people who may do things that you disagree with, and I’m not saying that you can’t love on them and be kind to them. Well, I am saying is that we have to be careful with who we are consistently surrounding yourself with because truly we become who we surround ourselves with. Like I have friends who don’t know the Lord and I have friends who do things I may not agree with, but I am still called to love on them, and I will still go out to dinner and have conversations with them because I am called to love on them, despite our different beliefs. My simple point is just that we just have to be careful with who we choose to be around consistently. As well as God’s timing is fast and sometimes somebody feel like he doesn’t hear us or is abandoning us, those are lies and thoughts from the devil. He absolutely always hears our cries and our desires! But he knows that we are strong and that we can get through things that we don’t even know we can and sometimes it’s OK to just have you in Jesus because I believe that at least for me right now I am being taught to be content with being in a season of me and Jesus and growing closer to him first and leaning into Him before I lean into anyone else(: hope that this encourages you 💜#Jesus #christian #realtalk #yougotthis #God
