I chose self-publishing. you'll do the same amount of marketing as you would for trad and retain 100% control. I originally wanted to hold out, but with the tens of thousands of subs they receive, our queries are whispers in a crowded room

Aw man, I'm sorry you're going through that. I had to just call it with trad pub and go self published. Turns out LGBT Scifi wasn't what publishers were looking for, but the readers liked it.
