Your communication goes nowhere, not because your feelings aren't valid, but because the way it's framed triggers a wall. The shift that actually helps is leading with "I" and staying with your own experience. I feel angry. I feel scared. I feel insecure. If you need to bring in what caused it, point to the moment or the incident rather than the person. "When I heard that, I felt hurt" lands completely differently to "you always do this."
