@boymeetstherapy: Gays shouldn’t have to be working to remain palatable to straight people. I remember so many times when I toned down my gayness because I didn’t want to make the straight people around me uncomfortable. This courtesy is not reciprocated to us. It’s not about any kind of division, it is just simply that I shouldn’t have to be expected to keep curving my femininity or cadence to be more passable. Obviously there is nuance to this and situations where safety is a concern but in general, we should curb this practice. #gaytiktok #pridemonth🏳️‍🌈 #gay #pridemonth

I need gay men to stop co-signing off homophobia and transphobia for cishet validation 💆. Flamboyant gay men and transgender ppl are not your enemy.

straight men don’t actually talk like that, sssooooo many of them are putting on an affectation for the sake of meeting social expectations. that’s why they get mad when you don’t do it lol

I'm a bi woman and I used to have a gay friend who would work crazy hard to be accepted by his straight best friend. She literally hated him for being gay, for being a man, and they lived together. But my pointing out that she hated him and that her words and actions were constantly hateful and invalidating was too much. Praying and hoping that he eventually found a friend group that wouldn't get mad at him for being him.

you are projecting. you said "I" 9 times while quoting gay and straight stereotypes that you think people should be. in my 700 years on this planet I have not once had to change my voice or behavior to fit in with anyone. "I I I I ... me me me me me". you are a grown up. HOW other people think you should exist should have ZERO impact on you. There will always be haters. the trick is you can't give them power over you.
