Does anyone know why many Special Operations or elite forces personnel who have served on multiple overseas deployments often struggle with PTSD? They go through extreme hardships and are sometimes required to do things they were trained to do in combat, which can leave lasting psychological scars. They sacrifice their time, energy, skills, and, in many cases, their well-being because of political decisions that are beyond their control. When they return home or retire, many are left to deal with PTSD and other serious mental health challenges. In Chris’s case, he is a former Navy SEAL and only 45 years old. You would think that after everything he accomplished and sacrificed for his country, he would be able to enjoy a good life. Instead, he was arrested and taken to the hospital. It’s heartbreaking to see, and it makes you wonder what will happen next. I am pretty sure that He lives with constant guilt over what he did wrong on his or his team decisions or missions and it is reality !
