Yes but not so much when being striked, being stoic doesn’t remove the objective reality that someone shouldn’t strike you. Stoicism is not a license for others to mistreat you, nor does it excuse or minimize the objective wrongness of being struck or abused…Stoicism is built on four cardinal virtues..Wisdom, Courage, Temperance, and Justice. Allowing someone to act unjustly without consequence violates the very foundation of the philosophy. There is acceptance and then there is passivity and they are entirely different.
