I keep hearing about the yap trend. Since January my goal has been to speak to camera and I’m pushing myself to face that fear more frequently now. I do find it intimidating to speak to adults through the camera lens. It doesn’t help that I’ve experienced criticism, a lack of support and often acknowledgment from peeps that are the closest to me. And because I spent so many years as a tv preschool tv host, there’s an added stress that I will disappoint the peeps who grew to watching me. Having said that I am embracing the self-confidence mindset that always helps - reminding myself of the same things I taught kids- to be yourself, try your best, pursue your dreams and face your fears.
